Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Tampa, FL to contribute to data integration, analytics, and software design in a fast‑paced environment. You will document requirements, participate in design discussions, code updates, and help ensure software quality across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes hands‑on coding, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and delivering scalable solutions using Starburst/Trino, Oracle, and ETL technologies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may substitute for each year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
• Candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship are welcome to apply; Infosys cannot sponsor visa now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements per guidance.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify code, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, tests, and support activities to enrich knowledge base.
