Qualifications

• High school graduation and three years of experience using computing and information technology resources.
• Minimum of 24 semester credits in any discipline.
• Specific knowledge of the particular software or systems supported may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teachers know how to use available software and hardware and ensure equipment is working properly.
• Perform disk backups as required.
• Train users for full utilization of hardware and software.
• Provide timely resolution of computer problems by answering questions or referring to appropriate resources.
• Install new software and develop applications for users.
• Evaluate hardware and software and make purchase recommendations.
• Obtain and maintain a CDL bus license.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Drive a bus when called upon to do so while maintaining proficiency in driving skills.
• Maintain discipline and report undisciplined students to school administration.
• Discharge students only at authorized stops and transport only authorized students.
• Comply with local and state traffic regulations and observe all mandatory safety regulations.
• Report delays and accidents.
• Clean the interior of the bus.
• Serve as a team player and role model for other employees.
• Perform other duties and accept responsibilities as assigned.
