Job summary

SMS InfoComm is seeking an Assembly Technician L3 in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on replacing parts, assembling/disassembling units, and documenting work in our in-house system. You will assist on technical issues and support a clean, organized warehouse workflow.

Ideal candidates have an A+ or equivalent, strong English, and familiarity with PC components across brands. Prior depot repair experience and basic MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires A+ certification or equivalent.
• Must read and write English.
• Prefer 1 year in a repair depot environment.
• Experience with component replacement on PC hardware.
• Familiarity with multiple model families (ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer).
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
