Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech to diagnose, test, and replace failed server components. You will document results and collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspection teams to ensure quality.

The role requires physical work including lifting, standing, and handling tools, in a warehouse environment. You should be comfortable following written instructions, assembling components, and performing routine diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to assemble components to make a server functional.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, diagnose servers and replace parts as needed.
• Conduct server stress tests and document results.
• Record symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor system.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide backup support for QC and motherboard testing and manage parts usage.
