Job summary

Young World Physical Education in Annandale, VA is looking for a dynamic Technology Teacher to integrate technology into grades 3-8. The ideal candidate will work approximately 25-30 hours per week and support technology usage among teachers and students.

This part-time role requires candidates to be practicing Catholics and eligible for certification in Virginia. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 based on education and experience, with eligible benefits including medical, dental, and 403(b) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Practicing Catholic with a devotion to the faith.
• Eligible for certification/licensure in Virginia or through VCEA.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 25-30 hours a week for grades 3-8.
• Support the school's technology implementation.
• Establish and enforce information technology standards.

Skills

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects

Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking

Experience with Google for Education Apps

Knowledge of coding, 3-D printing, robotics and STEM

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred
