Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the offered job or a related occupation.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a master's degree and one year of experience.
  • Must have one year of experience in: (1) designing PLM solutions; (2) managing BOMs in a PLM tool; (3) project management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of components, BOMs, documents, and other product data supporting business strategies and supply chain requirements.
  • Promote best practices and internal business processes with relation to change management and PLM functions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to structure new products and document product changes as part of product development and sustaining engineering processes.
  • Refine processes and grow the capabilities of current systems.
  • Interface with customers to process changes and structure new products.
  • Provide input to the project team on schedule, issues, and deliverables related to product data management.
  • Drive part setup, BOM releases, and BOM changes to support new product introduction and sustain business.
  • Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

Work with supply chain, engineering, program management, and other supporting functions to accurately structure new products and document product changes as part of the product development, continuous improvement, and sustaining engineering processes. Provide clear input to the project team on schedule, issues, and deliverables related to product data management. Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, and BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) and sustain business. Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.
