Job Description:

• Remote opportunity, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time (core availability required between 10:00 AM–2:00 PM PST).
• The Strategic Sourcing Manager (Contingent) is a hands-on, highly responsive, and detail-oriented role responsible for supporting fast-paced, low-spend, high-turnaround procurement needs.
• This position is best suited for candidates who thrive in high-volume environments and can act as reliable execution partners across multiple sourcing categories.
• The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to create clarity for stakeholders while maintaining clean records and seamless collaboration through tools such as Slack and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage rapid-turnaround sourcing requests with minimal guidance, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
• Serve as the operational lead and point of contact for sourcing requests across multiple categories (e.g., Technology, Marketing, M&A, People).
• Manage and maintain sourcing tickets in systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Provide visibility and alignment with business owners through regular updates, stakeholder check-ins, and Slack communications.
• Lead sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs), contract negotiations, and vendor onboarding.
• Deliver real-time updates to stakeholders on sourcing progress, bottlenecks, and resolution paths.
• Support spend forecasting, supplier rationalization, and alignment with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Security.
• Drive process improvements to increase throughput without sacrificing compliance or value.
• Implement best practices in supplier communications, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience

• 3–9 years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in fast-paced or tech-driven environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple low-to-mid complexity sourcing transactions efficiently.
• Demonstrated success with RFP/RFQ execution, contract review coordination, and vendor evaluation.
• Experience managing ticketing workflows and maintaining clean data trails.
• Prior experience in high-growth companies is a plus.
