Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in professional services marketing and business development
• Law firm BD experience preferred
• Experience supervising staff a plus
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Salesforce a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior attorneys and firm leadership to develop and execute BD and marketing strategies
• Develop and monitor business plans, budgets, goals, and milestones for practice and industry groups
• Identify and pursue BD opportunities with existing clients and prospects
• Develop pitches, RFPs, presentations, and client materials
• Track and report BD activities, opportunities, and ROI
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify growth areas
• Support client relationship management and strengthen key client relationships
• Coordinate cross-practice BD initiatives and sponsorships
• Plan and support firm events and communications
• Prepare client lists, matter descriptions, website content, brochures, and submissions
• Assist with client alerts and newsletters
• Develop targeted client/prospect mailing lists with CRM
• Support supervision and development of BD specialists
