Sun Chemical Corporation in Amelia, Ohio, is seeking a QC Lab Tech III to support manufacturing through raw material, in-process, and finished goods inspection and testing. The role performs testing with minimal supervision and serves as a resource for training and guidance.

The position contributes to process improvements, interprets test results, maintains records, and works with lab, production, and cross-functional teams. Regular and overtime commitments may apply.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.

• Minimum of two years in laboratory, quality, or related technical experience.

QC LAB TECH III

Position Description

The Quality Control Lab Technician III provides immediate support to Manufacturing through raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inspection and testing. This position performs testing independently with minimal supervision and serves as a resource to other technicians by assisting with training, troubleshooting, and procedural guidance. The Technician III role contributes to process improvement efforts, supports quality initiatives, and assists in interpreting and communicating test results to support manufacturing operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform tests as specified in the Quality Control Manual and Quality Control Records.
• Prioritize work based on information supplied by Quality Control leadership and Production Supervisors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while managing daily workload and laboratory priorities.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of laboratory, quality, research and development, manufacturing quality, or related technical experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Industrial laboratory experience.
• Experience in quality control, testing laboratories, process control, research and development, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with aqueous inks, digital inks, UV dispersions, pigmented dispersions, coatings, or similar products.
• Experience training or mentoring employees.
• Demonstrated process improvement and problem-solving skills
