Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a subsidiary of Sun Chemical Group Cooperatief U.A., is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to provide immediate support for Manufacturing. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will perform tests as specified in the Quality Control Manual, record results neatly, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in both lab and production environments. Strong basic math, communication, and lab skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic Lab Skills.
• Associate's degree in a science or technical field is a plus.
• Industrial laboratory working experience is a plus.
• General computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests as specified in the Quality Control Manual and Quality Control Records.
• Prioritize work based on information supplied by Quality Control Manager, Process Chemists and / or Production Supervisors.
• Comply with all safety rules, regulations and practices.
• Creates and ensures that records of work are correct, neat, properly labeled, filed and complete.
• Meets both regular and overtime commitments on a timely basis.
• Completes special projects at the request of managers or supervisors.
• Works in a professional manner with peers both in the lab and in the manufacturing process.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Description

The Quality Control Lab Technicians provide immediate support for Manufacturing. Depending on work area, they may perform raw material, work-in-process, or finished goods inspection and testing. Technicians are required to work independently with a minimum of supervision.

Essential Job Functions
