Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Deskside Support Technician II in Mississippi. The role focuses on supporting the end-user environment, resolving escalated IT issues, and managing device lifecycles in a warehouse setting.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced logistics environment. Candidates should have 1 year of end-user support experience, a background in deploying desktop hardware in a warehouse, and relevant technical degrees or training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience supporting end-user equipment and telephony equipment.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, building, and deploying desktop computers in a warehouse.
• Associate degree or higher; technical training preferred.
• 3 years of Warehouse experience end-use equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 escalated technical issues.
• Maintain and manage workload through ITSM ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients, and mobile devices.
• Use SCCM, Active Directory, and other tools to diagnose and remediate issues.
• Support and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 escalated technical issues


• Maintain and manage workload through computerized ITSM ticketing and tracking system


• Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients, and mobile devices


• Use SCCM, Active Directory, and other diagnostic and remediation utilities to identify, diagnose and correct issues


• Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 email and Outlook

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience supporting end-user equipment and telephony equipment


• Experience installing, troubleshooting, building, and deploying desktop computers in a warehouse

Or supply chain environment

It'd be great if you also have:

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree or vocational training in a technical field of study


• 3 years of Warehouse experience supporting end-use equipment
