• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of materials handling equipment controls.
• Assess efficiency of materials handling equipment and define necessary modifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to sustain productivity in warehouse operations.
• Escort contractors for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM records of repairs and equipment status.
• Manage spare parts inventory.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related error conditions occurring in the Distribution Center and repairs appropriately.
• Oversee any maintenance, modifications, and/or system upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls.
• Assesses the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems and defines necessary modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations.
• Escorts/assists contractors for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment in the Distribution Center.
• Manages the inventory of spare parts.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet productivity goals.
• Performs related duties as assigned. Analyzes routine operational data to support issue resolution and improve workflow consistency.
• Implements incremental process adjustments that enhance efficiency, reduce rework, and improve service delivery.
• Coordinates task dependencies across teams to support smooth execution and timely completion of activities.
• Escalates atypical issues with clear context and recommended actions to support effective resolution.
• Performs assigned maintenance and operational activities to sustain equipment reliability and process continuity.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, facilities management, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, maintenance operations, industrial maintenance, building systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or a related field required.

Certifications

• Certification in Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or equivalent certification preferred.
