Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Tech II to assemble, wire, and modify components for medium- and high-voltage indoor/outdoor assemblies, including breakers and power modules. You will follow electrical and mechanical drawings, and use established procedures to meet quality standards.

The role requires lifting parts up to 50 lbs, operating hand and pneumatic tools, and collaborating with engineering and supervision to support development activities. Monday-Thursday 7-4, Friday 7-11.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a Lean environment.
• No immigration sponsorship; within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify components for medium- and high-voltage assemblies according to drawings and procedures.
• Follow manufacturing information, drawings, sketches, and supervisor instructions.
• Complete ISO, quality, and customer checklists and production lists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure hardware is secure, components are complete and clean.
• Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-driven development activities.
• Train and coach colleagues to share knowledge and improve skills.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Tech II, CC Wireboards G2. The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.HOURS: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am until 11:00 am.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In the Assembly Technician position, you will assemble, wire, and modify components in accordance with established guidelines for manufacturing medium- and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies. This includes breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and associated sub‑assemblies.Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or team leads, following established procedures.Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as required for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.Regularly lift, handle, and assemble components that include heavy copper parts.Report material shortages to the appropriate Kanban inventory operators.Inspect all assemblies to ensure hardware is secure, components are complete, and products meet cleanliness standards.Respond to change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development needs.Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer‑driven development activities.Effectively train and coach colleagues to support knowledge sharing and skill development.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Must have a High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and pneumatic (air) tools.Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
