Job summary

Presidio Technology Partners is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for its Technology team in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will work on deal execution, mentoring analysts, and collaborating with senior bankers across the transaction lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in tech investment banking, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a solid grasp of SaaS metrics, with the ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, economics, accounting or related field.
• At least three years of technology investment banking experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Outstanding Excel skills.
• Integrity, ethics, and judgement.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize investment merits.
• Project management across multiple transactions with attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with blue-chip clients and financial sponsors.
• Background in technology banking or related tech field.

Responsibilities

• Detailed Financial Modeling: construct and maintain complex financial models and revenue by customer waterfalls; deep knowledge of SaaS metrics is valued.
• Marketing Materials: Prepare presentations, pitch books, teasers and information memoranda.
• Valuation Analyses: create and maintain precedent transactions and comps; conduct in-depth industry research.
• Management / Mentoring: support senior bankers and mentor analysts.
• Client Interaction: work directly with clients, investors and senior bankers across deal phases.
