Job summary

Progress Partners in Boston is seeking an Experienced Investment Banking Associate to support its Technology-focused M&A and Capital Markets transactions. The ideal candidate will manage financial modeling, valuation analyses, and preparation of CIMs and client presentations while coordinating due diligence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least one year of IB experience, and strong communication, writing, and senior stakeholder interaction skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year as an Investment Banking Associate.
• Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices.
• Advanced financial modeling, corporate finance, and accounting.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent writing, verbal, and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of deal teams on M&A and capital raising transactions.
• Own financial modeling, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Draft CIMs, management presentations, and other materials.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and day-to-day execution.
• Interact directly with clients, buyers, sponsors, and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior resources and contribute to recruitment and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
