Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services in San Francisco / Silicon Valley / New York seeks an Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of corporate finance experience to join a growing team handling sophisticated financing matters.

You will advise on commercial finance and debt capital markets transactions, including convertible, high‑yield, and investment‑grade offerings, plus syndicated and bilateral facilities, acquisition financings, and venture debt in a fast‑moving, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant corporate finance, commercial lending, and/or debt capital markets experience.
• Experience with debt securities offerings and/or corporate credit facilities.
• Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and execution skills.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• Admission, or eligibility for admission, in the relevant jurisdiction.
• A JD.
• Previous experience working in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a combination of commercial finance and debt capital markets transactions.
• Handle matters including convertible, high‑yield, and investment‑grade bond offerings, as well as syndicated, club, and bilateral credit facilities.
• Work on acquisition financings, asset‑based lending facilities, venture debt, and other strategic financing arrangements.
• Receive meaningful responsibility and work closely with experienced lawyers and sophisticated clients on central transactions.
• Operate in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment to deepen technical expertise as a corporate finance attorney.
