Job summary

Jobtailor in Seattle seeks an experienced FP&A partner to serve as the primary finance partner to Technology and Product SVP/VP leaders. You will participate in weekly leadership meetings and drive P&L analysis across the portfolio.

You will own forecasting, planning, scenarios, and lead monthly business reviews and in-year outlooks. This role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint and ERP experience, with collaboration across Accounting, Tax, and Sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics required or preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in Finance/FP&A.
• Experience serving as a Finance Business Partner to senior leaders, ideally in Technology, Engineering, or Product.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with SmartView-enabled Excel.
• Experience with Oracle-based ERP, SmartView, and Workday.
• Exposure to SQL, Looker, Anaplan, or Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to Technology and Product SVP/VP leaders and participate in weekly leadership meetings
• Analyze and track P&L performance through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Identify trends, communicate insights, and recommend shifts to ensure transparency and accountability
• Lead monthly business reviews and in-year outlooks
• Partner with leaders on annual planning, scenario analysis, and investment business cases
• Own financial inputs, assumptions, and narratives for supported portfolios
• Partner with centralized FP&A on forecasting models, consolidation, and reporting
• Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, and Sourcing/Procurement on capitalization, expense treatment, vendor considerations, and financial governance
• Drive process improvement, automation, and forecasting discipline across Technology and Product portfolios
