Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a capable healthcare support professional to join our team. Under the direction of the Chief Technologists or Site Manager, you will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and assist with throughput, room turnover, and supply management.
The role requires strong communication, CPR certification, and the ability to start IVs for contrast injections, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and a focus on patient advocacy and adherence to HIPAA and Wellstar

Functions under the direction of the Chief Technologists or Site Manager. Providing safe, age appropriate care to the patients in accordance with Policy and Procedures. Maintains good working relationships with managers, staff, physicians and their staff. Assist technologists and/or nurses with patient throughput, room turnover, performs patient advocate functions, and assists with supply and room stocking activities.
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Assists clinical staff when performing examinations.
Transportation of patients; Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs

Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Clinical Experience In a Healthcare Setting. Required
Medical Imaging experience preferred Preferred
Demonstrates good communication skills and handwriting.
Must obtain medical terminology training within twelve (12) months. The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStars Standards of Gold and Values).
CPR certification.
