Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking an Emergency Room Tech who is committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. You will work under RN/physician supervision to deliver essential emergency care.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, assisting with wound care, obtaining specimens, stocking rooms, and transporting patients. Required EMT-P, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and a high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Takes direction from RN or physician to maintain high standard of patient care.
• Provides emergency care to patients in the ER by monitoring the patients’ vitals.
• Assists with emergency medical processes, such as dressing wounds and administering stitches.
• Takes medical samples from patients, such as blood or urine.
• Cleans and stocks carts, rooms, and changes linen, as required.
• Decontaminates all equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Assists with transport of patients to other departments.
