Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to join its U.S. Equity team in New York. The role focuses on the Information Technology sector and supports fundamental research and investment recommendations for U.S. equities.

You will conduct research on technology companies, build detailed financial models, analyze results and industry trends, and present views to portfolio managers. Strong modeling, communication skills and experience with sector data are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of equity research, investment management or similar experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. public equities.
• Experience covering technology/IT companies strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, accounting and valuation skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Python or SQL experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on U.S. technology companies.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and earnings forecasts.
• Analyze quarterly results, SEC filings, company guidance and industry trends.
• Perform valuation and scenario analysis.
• Develop investment theses, target prices and stock recommendations.
• Present research and investment views to portfolio managers.
• Work closely with senior analysts and global investment teams.
