Job summary

Clover Health Services in Rochester, NY is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to prepare procedure rooms for GI exams, assist physicians and nurses, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.

You will manage endoscopy equipment, label specimens, maintain sterile environments, and help ensure smooth patient flow during the 17-week assignment.

Responsibilities

Prepare procedure rooms for gastrointestinal exams such as colonoscopies and EGDs
Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and related equipment according to infection control standards
Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures by managing instruments and supplies
Set up and operate endoscopy equipment, monitors, suction, and light sources
Monitor patients vital signs and comfort before, during, and after procedures as directed
Collect, label, and handle specimens accurately for laboratory analysis
Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
Turn over procedure rooms efficiently between cases to support patient flow
Stock and manage supplies, ensuring availability of endoscopy instruments and disposables
Provide patient support and reassurance throughout the diagnostic process
