Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, and International and Private Client services.

As a Tax Supervisor based out of any of our New Jersey offices or our offices in New York City, Orange County, CA, San Diego, CA, or San Francisco, CA, you will work alongside an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders. You will take a lead role in all aspects of tax engagements, supervise and mentor staff, and build and maintain client relationships.

How You’ll Spend Your Time :

1. Preparing complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
2. Reviewing mid-level complexity tax returns prepared by staff for accuracy.
3. Researching and drafting memoranda involving complex tax matters.
4. Identifying tax planning opportunities.
5. Handling and resolving tax controversies.
6. Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet deadlines efficiently.
7. Providing supervision, training, and support to engagement staff, promoting open communication with partners and managers.

The kinds of people we want to talk to have many of the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting.
2. Working towards CPA license or CPA certification (preferred).
3. A Master of Science in Taxation is a plus.
4. 3+ years of experience in a public accounting tax department.
5. Excellent analytical and technical tax skills.
6. Exceptional client service and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
7. Ability to manage multiple engagements and projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
8. Strong leadership, training, mentoring, and presentation skills.
9. Excellent organizational, project management skills, and attention to detail.
