Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated technology teacher for a full-time, on-site middle school in Illinois. You will teach 7th and 8th graders, align lessons to standards, and promote digital literacy during the 2024-2025 to 2026-2027 academic years.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Education, an Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements, and demonstrated ability to build engaging, standards-based technology curricula while collaborating with colleagues and families.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements.
Experience developing and implementing middle school technology curricula.
Experience teaching 7th/8th grade levels preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience integrating educational technology and digital citizenship in daily lessons.

Responsibilities

Deliver technology instruction for 7th and 8th grade following standards and school goals.
Develop lesson plans emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, and practical digital skills.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support.
Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, administrators, and support staff.
Participate in meetings, professional development, and communicate with families.
