The role requires a Bachelor's in Education, an Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements, and demonstrated ability to build engaging, standards-based technology curricula while collaborating with colleagues and families.

Qualifications

Job description

Bring your expertise in technology education to a vibrant middle school environment, shaping the minds of 7th and 8th graders as they explore the world of technology. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to inspire students and foster digital literacy during the 2024-2025 academic year. Starting August 17 and running through May 27, 2027, youll collaborate with a dedicated team and help design engaging, meaningful experiences for young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License with relevant endorsements
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement curriculum tailored to middle school technology classes
• Previous classroom experience, particularly at the 7th or 8th grade level, is highly desirable
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with integrating educational technology and digital citizenship concepts into daily lessons

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic technology instruction for 7th and 8th grade students, following curriculum standards and school goals
