Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Austin, TX is seeking a Golf Coach to deliver high-quality instruction and report to the General Manager of Performance. You’ll blend technical coaching with client engagement, grow your roster, and advance into a full-time instruction role through the Coach Development Program.

You’ll utilize TrackMan and Callaway Tour Fitting, run junior clinics, promote lessons and memberships, and represent Five Iron Golf at events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years golf industry experience or PGM program graduate.
• Proven one-on-one and group coaching experience.
• Strong understanding of swing mechanics and launch monitor data.
• Excellent communication and ability to connect with golfers at all levels.
• Physically able to stand, bend and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction for players of all skill levels.
• Use TrackMan and other technologies for data-driven coaching and fittings.
• Engage guests during Golf Experience Engagement Time; promote lessons, fittings, and memberships.
• Build and retain a loyal client base with welcoming, performance-driven experiences.
• Represent Five Iron Golf at corporate events with high-energy sessions.
• Maintain a consistent lesson schedule meeting productivity and KPIs.
• Promote coaching services on social media and brand channels.
• Lead junior clinics and support community outreach to grow the game.
• Follow up with students to convert swing evaluations into ongoing lessons.
