Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented diet records assistant to accurately document patient diets in the EMR and update changes as prescribed to ensure optimal patient health.

The role requires reading, writing, and communicating in English, with preference for a high school diploma and Nevada Food Handler's Safety Training. Computer operations knowledge is essential for daily tasks on the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.
• Knowledge of computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Record patient diets in the electronic medical record and update changes as needed.
• Ensure quality service to patients for optimum health.

Job Description

Responsible for the accurate recording of patient diets in the patient electronic medical record and the updating of changes as necessary to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.

Experience:

Previous experience preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of computer operations.

License/Certification:

Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler's Safety Training Card.

Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service within the physician's prescription to the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
