Job summary

The Valley Health System's West Henderson Hospital is seeking a Utility Worker to maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a busy hospital setting.

The role supports patient care by keeping food service areas clean and organized, handling tasks as assigned and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. A high school diploma is preferred and a Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
