Job summary

BCLP in Denver/Boulder is seeking a sharp, entrepreneurial mid-level associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our Technology & Data practice. You will draft, negotiate technology agreements, advise on privacy and data protection matters, and support cross-border data transfers in multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in technology transactions, privacy, cybersecurity or data protection.
• Experience advising on privacy and data protection laws including GDPR/US state privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology agreements (licensing, SaaS, cloud, development, reseller, partnerships).
• Draft, review and negotiate privacy and data protection provisions in transactions.
• Advise on privacy compliance programs, data governance, data mapping, and cross-border transfers.
• Support clients in privacy-related investigations and cybersecurity incidents.
• Serve as technology/privacy specialist for corporate transactions or M&A.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated advice.
