Qualifications

• J.D. from a top-tier law school.
• Bar admission in Illinois or New York preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience at a mid- to large-sized law firm focusing on technology transactions or IP licensing.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in technology, media, and innovation.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, and data processing.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to align legal frameworks with business objectives.
• Support due diligence and client counseling in M&A and financing deals involving technology assets.
• Contribute to client updates and internal knowledge management on legal trends in tech and media.
