Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Customer Access in Spartanburg, SC. This part-time role involves monitoring access points, patrolling technology-focused facilities, and providing excellent customer service while documenting observations using digital tools.

The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening in compliance with laws. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a dynamic security environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, including business areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
