Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy on in-office patients, register and order tests, and ensure specimen integrity while delivering friendly, patient-centered service.
The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (ASCP certification preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills. Shift: Day. Salary range $21.90–$27.37 per hour with comprehensive benefits.
To perform phlebotomy on In Office patients. To register, order tests, perform medical necessity, and process specimens provide customer service through initiation and/or response to provider and patient inquiries via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results or specimen requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required. Customer service experience preferred.
Excellent phlebotomy skills. ASCP certified preferred. Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Good typing skills.
