A leading health system is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform essential tasks including blood draws, specimen processing, and customer service for patient interactions. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, at least one year of phlebotomy experience, and excellent communication skills. To perform phlebotomy on In Office patients. To register, order tests, perform medical necessity, and process specimens provide customer service through initiation and/or response to provider and patient inquiries via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results or specimen requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required. Customer service experience preferred.
Excellent phlebotomy skills. ASCP certified preferred. Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc. Excellent organizational and problem - solving skills. Good typing skills. Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.
