Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a high-potential graduate for its Technology Graduate Program - Entry Level Software Engineer. The 12-month program offers two six-month rotations and hands-on experience in big data, AI, SRE, DevOps, and security engineering with exposure to AWS and Azure.

Participants receive mentorship, performance feedback, and extensive training while contributing to product development that supports insurance, healthcare, and government markets.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between May 2026 and December 2026.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with the team.
• Proficient in development languages listed (Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, .Net).
• Familiar with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of data manipulation languages and data modeling principles.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
• Knowledge of test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for developing system components.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under guidance.
• Operate in various development environments and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Complete simple bug fixes and apply test-driven development knowledge.
• Gather and analyze requirements for software development projects with stakeholders.
• Resolve basic technical issues and stay updated on new tech developments.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of software development methodologies and data manipulation languages.
• Understand data modeling principles and applicable development languages.
