FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC is seeking a Technician 3, Maintenance to install, maintain and repair process equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, SOP updates, and maintaining accurate records to ensure high uptime.

You will work a 24/7 schedule across day and night shifts, supporting safety, cGMP compliance, and budget planning for maintenance projects in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Revise and develop SOPs for process maintenance related activities.
• Train and mentor technicians.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment purchases and upgrades.
• Assist with budget forecasting for maintenance and capital projects.
• Follow SOPs and cGMP quality standards; ensure safety.
• Notify management/EHS when unsafe conditions or hazards are found.
• Attend safety and health training.
• Support site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours.
• Perform spare parts assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Plans and performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
• Assists with developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment down time
• Revises and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process maintenance related activities
• Trains and mentors' technicians
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Evaluates and recommends new equipment purchases and upgrades
• Assists and provides recommendations to management to develop and maintain maintenance budgets and schedules
• Assists management with budget forecast for maintenance and capital projects
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) quality standards
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follow safe work practices, immediately
• Notifies management or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Attends all required and safety and health training
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off‑hours, as needed
• Performs spare parts assessments, as required
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or a related field
• Prior maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
• Experience in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma
• Experience mentoring or leading maintenance teams in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
