Job summary

Glenmont Job Corps Center seeks a TEAP Counselor (CASAC-T or CASAC) to provide substance-use education, prevention, early intervention, counseling, and support to young adults pursuing education and career goals.

You will screen and assess student needs, deliver individual and group sessions, develop individualized support plans, coordinate with center teams, and maintain confidential documentation in line with HIPAA and Job Corps policies.

Qualifications

• CASAC or CASAC-T credential required.
• Experience in substance-use counseling preferred.
• Ability to document case notes and progress.
• Strong boundaries and confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess student needs to identify support levels.
• Provide individual and group counseling focused on prevention and healthy decisions.
• Develop individualized support plans based on student goals.
• Coordinate with Health & Wellness, Counseling, and Center staff.
• Maintain confidential documentation and progress notes.
