Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Newark, DE is seeking a Teammate – On Field Operations to help deliver an exceptional athlete experience by supporting merchandising, product availability, pricing, and signage on the sales floor.

You will greet customers, follow floor sets, assist athletes and teammates, and help maintain accurate inventory and presentation while upholding safety and store policies.

Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or Equivalent; a coachable, collaborative mindset is valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and provide helpful product knowledge.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs such as loyalty participation, warranty sales, and card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, SOPs, and applicable laws including ATF guidelines.
• Create an inclusive store environment where all feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team; additional tasks as assigned.

As a Teammate – On Field Operations, you will ensure the store is organized, accurate, and ready to meet athlete needs at all times. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet everyone (Teammates and Athletes) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned.
