Job summary

InvestM Technology LLC in Fremont, CA is seeking a Lead QA engineer to own end-to-end QA for Teamcenter implementations. Remote work options with on-site travel as needed.

You will define governance, test strategies, and manage cycles across Agile teams, coordinating with BA, Architects, and Developers to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

Job description

Remote Fremont , CA we need someone who can go onsite whenever asked for candidate should be ready to relocate or Travel to the onsite location

Lead end-to-end quality assurance strategy for Teamcenter implementations and enhancements

Define and enforce QA governance, standards, and testing frameworks across PLM programs

Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT phases

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers to ensure clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria

Plan and manage test cycles, schedules, and resource allocation aligned with Agile sprints and release timelines

Oversee Creation And Execution Of

• Test plans and test cases
• Test scripts and automation suites
• Test data preparation and management

Ensure Validation Of Key Teamcenter Functionalities

• BOM management (EBOM/MBOM)
• Change management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
• Workflow processes
• Access control and security

Validate integrations with external systems (SAP, MES, CAD tools like NX)

Drive test automation strategy (where applicable) using appropriate tools and frameworks

Monitor and report defect metrics, test coverage, and quality KPIs to stakeholders

Manage defect lifecycle including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking

Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases and defects

Lead UAT coordination, ensuring business validation and sign-offs

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and implement quality improvements

Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability testing for large datasets and high-volume transactions

Collaborate with Admin teams to validate environment readiness, deployments, and releases

Enforce adherence to release governance, change management, and compliance standards

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes and tools

Provide leadership and mentoring to QA teams across multiple vendors and geographies

Support cutover validation, production readiness, and hypercare phases

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in QA/Test Management for Teamcenter or PLM implementations

Expertise in defining test strategies, test frameworks, and QA governance

Good understanding of Teamcenter functionalities and data model (BOM, workflows, items, datasets)

Experience with integration testing (SAP, NX, MES)

Hands- on experience with test management tools (ADO, JIRA, ALM, etc.)

Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting tools

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
