Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a PLM Systems Development Engineer focused on Data and Analytics for the Teamcenter platform. You will design scalable data pipelines, build analytics models, and deliver dashboards that reveal PLM metrics and data quality across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with PLM engineers, product managers, hardware developers, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into reliable pipelines and actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• 3+ years of data engineering, database engineering, BI or analytics experience.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
• Experience building and maintaining data flows and pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with working with complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data extraction pipelines from Siemens Teamcenter PLM to AWS data lake.
• Create analytics data models representing PLM metrics like BOM structures and change workflows.
• Build dashboards and reporting for Teamcenter usage analytics and data quality monitoring.
• Support PLM system integration data flows with monitoring and observability.
• Develop data validation and quality frameworks to ensure PLM data integrity.
• Implement data federation between Teamcenter and ERP/CAD tools.
• Optimize data infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability in AWS.
• Apply data engineering best practices: version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Present data insights clearly to stakeholders and share knowledge across the team.
