Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced Teamcenter Developer to design, customize, and extend Teamcenter across large-scale enterprise environments. You will work on Active Workspace configurations, server customizations, and ITK integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate PLM requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities include developing extensions and plugins, supporting deployments and migrations, and ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter development and support in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong capability in Teamcenter customization with expertise in Active Workspace configuration and extension, server customization (Java and BMIDE), and UI/UX stylesheet customization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze PLM requirements and translate them into technical Teamcenter solutions.
• Design and implement customizations in Teamcenter including Active Workspace, server-side customization, Stylesheet modifications, SOA and ITK development.
• Develop, test, and deploy extensions, plugins, and integrations to enhance Teamcenter functionality and interoperability with ERP, CAD, MES systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions to recommend best practices for scalable, maintainable Teamcenter environments.
• Troubleshoot complex PLM issues, debug customizations, and provide technical support for Teamcenter deployments.
• Support deployment, rollout, upgrades, and migrations of Teamcenter with minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Document development work and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Agile teams with sprint planning and iterative delivery.
• Stay updated with Siemens Teamcenter features and industry trends to guide future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze PLM requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Teamcenter.
• Design and implement customizations in Teamcenter, including but not limited to Active Workspace, server-side customizations, Stylesheet modifications, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), and ITK (Integration Toolkit).
• Develop, test, and deploy extensions, plugins, and integrations to enhance Teamcenter functionality and interoperability with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, MES).
• Participate in architectural discussions and recommend best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance of Teamcenter environments.
• Troubleshoot complex PLM issues, debug customizations, and provide technical support for Teamcenter deployments.
• Support Teamcenter solution deployment, rollout, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and robust data integrity.
• Document development work, configurations, and custom solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Participate in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, story estimation, and iterative delivery cycles.
• Maintain awareness of the latest Teamcenter features, Siemens releases, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and inform future strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter development and support, preferably within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong capability in Teamcenter customization, with expertise in:
  • Active Workspace configuration and extension
  • Server customization, including Java and BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE)
  • Stylesheet customization for UI/UX enhancements
  • SOA and ITK development for integration and automation
