Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an experienced Teamcenter engineer to design, develop, and support complex customizations. The role emphasizes server-side extensions, ITK, BMIDE, and AWC within a multi-vendor delivery model.

The candidate will work across Part, BOM, Change, Manufacturing BOM, and Document Management areas, collaborating with track leads and architects in an onsite-offshore setting to deliver both Agile and Waterfall projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Teamcenter ITK customization experience, server-side extensions or handlers using C/C++
• Experience configuring the Teamcenter data model with BMIDE and using or building SOA services
• Active Workspace configuration or customization delivered on Teamcenter 11.x+/AWC 5.x+
• Experience with Part, BOM, Change, Manufacturing BOM, Service BOM, Document Management

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and AWC
• Create server-side extensions, handlers, business rules, data-model changes, and integrations aligned with solution architecture
• Support Teamcenter functional areas: Part, BOM, Change, Manufacturing BOM, Service BOM, Document Management

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and server components: Database Server, Application Server, Web Server, and Dispatcher.
• Teamcenter server-side customization, including custom extensions and handlers using C/C++ or C#.
• Teamcenter ITK customization for custom business logic and data manipulation using C/C++.
• Teamcenter PLM and Active Workspace (AWC) configuration and customization.
• Experience with Teamcenter 11.x+ and AWC 5.x+ implementation.
• BMIDE-based data-model configuration and Teamcenter SOA services.
• Development of interfaces and integrations with Teamcenter.
• Experience in Part, BOM, Change, Manufacturing BOM, Service BOM, and Document Management.
• TcUA development experience.
• Hi-Tech industry and multi-vendor delivery experience.
