Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned Teamcenter PLM expert to lead architecture and transformation efforts across global teams. You will define end-to-end PLM processes, drive change management, and mentor consultants while collaborating with ERP, CAD, and MES integrations.

Applicants should excel in workshops, requirements elicitation, and delivering customer-facing solutions within Agile, multinational delivery environments. Location options include Morrisville, NC and San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Teamcenter PLM implementations and solution design.
• Deep understanding of PLM processes and product lifecycle management.
• Strong workshop and requirements elicitation experience.
• Experience in Agile and global delivery environments.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter modules and integrations with ERP/CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead business architecture and solution design for Teamcenter PLM implementations.
• Engage with stakeholders to capture current and future-state requirements.
• Define end-to-end PLM processes including development, change, BOM and configuration management.
• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and capture functional specifications.
• Support migration, integration, and digital thread initiatives with ERP/CAD/ MES.

• Exposure to Teamcenter upgrades, cloud migration, and data migration initiatives.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), or

Digital Thread initiatives.

• Familiarity with AI/GenAI use cases in PLM and Engineering domains.
• Teamcenter or Siemens PLM certifications

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business architecture and solution design for Teamcenter PLM implementations and transformations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and future-state requirements.
• Define end-to-end PLM processes covering Product Development, Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Configuration Management, and Program Management.
• Conduct business process workshops, fit-gap analysis, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Drive functional solution design and collaborate with technical architects and development teams.
• Define Teamcenter data models, object structures, workflows, access control strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Support migration, integration, and digital thread initiatives involving ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems.
• Provide strategic guida nce on Teamcenter best practices, roadmap, and adoption.
• Create functional specifications, architecture documents, process flows, and user stories.
• Support testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment activities.
• Mentor functional consultants and lead customer-facing discussions.
