Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Teamcenter Administrator to manage and configure our PLM system on-site in El Segundo, CA. You will set up access, security, and customize the environment to meet business needs while ensuring smooth integration with other enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data management, and user training to maximize PLM efficiency. Level 5 IT Engr role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Teamcenter Administrator or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and customization.
• Proficiency with BMIDE, ITK, and SOA.
• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, installations, and integrations.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software (Siemens NX, SolidWorks) and their integration with Teamcenter.
• Certification in Teamcenter administration or related field.
• Must be able to obtain US Citizenship and a US security clearance.

Job Summary

As the Teamcenter Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and configuring the Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system within our organization. This includes setting up and maintaining user access and security, customizing the Teamcenter environment to meet specific business needs, and ensuring the smooth operation and integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any system issues, performing data management tasks, and supporting users with training and technical assistance to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the PLM system. This position sits onsite at our office in El Segundo, CA.

This position's internal job is Information Technology Engr. Our team is currently hiring for level 5.

Position Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Teamcenter PLM system to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs
• Customize workflows, data models, and user interfaces to streamline business processes
• Manage user access, permissions, and security settings within the Teamcenter environment
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Teamcenter Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and customization capabilities
• Proficiency in Teamcenter administration tools, including BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), ITK (Integration Toolkit) and SOA (Service-oriented architecture)
• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, installations, and system integrations
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks) and their integration with Teamcenter
• Certification in Teamcenter administration or related field
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle SQL, Aurora PostgreSQL)
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, bash) for automation task
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
