Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is hiring a Software Test Engineer to join the Flight Software Team. You will analyze requirements, design test plans, write test cases and oversee test strategies for satellite software, including testing on real hardware and in emulation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, 2+ years of software testing experience, and hands-on skills with Python, C/C++, Git/GitLab, and CI.

Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer supports the Flight Software Team in analyzing, designing, and testing of software products for Millennium Space Systems. This position will review functional requirements and user stories from the customer and other subsystems, design test plans, write test cases, oversee test strategies and perform testing for assigned applications. This position will also submit and verify defects, maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of Millennium Space Systems software, analyze test results to certify existing functionality and integrations and recommend corrective action upon failures. We are looking for someone who wants to find ways to break our software.

This positions internal job code is Systems Engineer. Our team is currently hiring for Levels 3.

Responsibilities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
