World Vision is hiring a Team World Vision Sr. Representative to serve within the Transformational Engagement division.

Reports to: Regional Director Church Engagement

Location: Remote from Los Angeles, CA

Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of practical, specialized work experience in fundraising, ministry, partner management, marketing, and/or sales.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Travel: Up to 25% of time in the U.S.

Estimated Salary Range: $89,680 - $110,000

The Job

The Sr. Representative will collaborate within the Church and Ministry Partnership Teams to invite pastors and congregants into God's work of justice and mercy to eliminate extreme poverty. Responsible for raising a long-term donor value of $1.5M annually. Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with church leaders and organizations to meet fundraising goals. Increase participation and fundraising year-over-year by encouraging commitments to serve the poor in Christ's name. Personify World Vision's mission through witnessing and ministering through deeds, words, and signs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Participate in spiritual disciplines and incorporate WV Core Values into decision-making.
  • Raise at least $1,500,000 annually through sponsorships and one-time gifts, primarily via peer-to-peer fundraising. Establish at least 10 new church partnerships each year.
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with pastors, churches, and donors to promote interest in our transformational work and position World Vision as a preferred partner.
  • Network with current pastors and associations to develop new partnerships.
  • Represent WVUS at church networks, associations, and denominational meetings.
  • Conduct presentations to pastors, congregants, and community groups about World Vision's ministry and invite participation in events.
  • Collaborate with department leaders on growth strategies.
  • Manage accounts to ensure existing relationships are nurtured.
  • Increase engagement through meetings, events, expos, and marketing strategies.
  • Take pastors and influencers on vision trips to World Vision projects.
  • Coordinate with staff on event strategy and execution, including budgets and logistics.
  • Update website and social media content regarding upcoming events.
  • Train team captains and runners for fundraising events.
  • Work collaboratively within teams and perform other duties as needed.
  • Stay informed of organizational goals and policies.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, ministry, partner management, marketing, or sales. Background in athletic fundraising and experience with church or athletic communities preferred.

Salary Range & Benefits
  • WVUS Pay Grade Level: 226
  • Expected hiring range: $89,680 - $110,000
  • Full salary range: $84,600 - $135,400
  • Range may vary by location.
