Team Supervisor

Position Summary
The Team Supervisor is an on-shift supervisory position responsible for supporting daily range and retail operations while providing active direction and oversight to employees.
The Team Supervisor must be capable of performing the operational responsibilities required throughout the business while also managing employee performance, customer situations, workflow, safety, and operational priorities during assigned shifts.
This is not an entry-level supervisory position. Applicants must have either substantial demonstrated experience in a trusted coordinator, key-holder, senior operations, or comparable position, or a minimum of one year of prior supervisory or management experience.
This position requires someone who can lead professionally, make sound decisions, address problems directly, hold employees accountable, and maintain company standards without requiring constant management involvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee daily range, retail, customer-service, and operational responsibilities.
- Perform Range Safety Officer duties when required.
- Provide knowledgeable customer assistance and support retail sales.
- Serve as an authorized company key holder and perform assigned opening and closing responsibilities.
- Direct employee workflow and assign duties based on operational priorities.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, customer service, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
- Provide employees with clear instructions, guidance, and appropriate on-shift coaching.
- Address performance or behavioral issues promptly and professionally within supervisory authority.
- Hold employees accountable for completing assigned responsibilities and maintaining company standards.
- Manage customer complaints, difficult interactions, and escalated situations.
- Intervene immediately when safety or security concerns arise.
- De-escalate conflicts involving customers or employees.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while treating employees consistently and fairly.
- Make routine operational and supervisory decisions when management is not immediately available.
- Recognize circumstances requiring escalation to management and communicate them promptly.
- Communicate significant employee, customer, safety, security, or operational incidents to management.
- Assist with cash handling, inventory, paperwork, point-of-sale systems, merchandising, facility upkeep, and other operational responsibilities.
- Maintain a safe, organized, professional, productive, and customer-focused environment throughout the shift.
- Lead by example in attendance, punctuality, professionalism, work ethic, safety, and customer service.
Required Experience
Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- A minimum of one year of prior supervisory or management experience; OR
- Substantial demonstrated experience in a coordinator, key-holder, senior operations, or comparable position involving independent responsibility, decision-making, and leadership.
Applicants who do not yet meet these experience requirements may be better suited for consideration for one of our other available positions.

- NRA Range Safety Officer certification or willingness and ability to obtain required certification.

- Comfortable providing corrective feedback and enforcing company expectations.
- Ability to remain fair and consistent when supervising employees.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands during busy periods.
- High level of dependability, discretion, maturity, and accountability.
- Ability to operate independently while recognizing the limits of supervisory authority.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Availability
Regular weekend availability is required, including open-to-close availability on Saturdays. Applicants must also maintain availability through closing on at least two additional days per week. Holiday availability may be required when the business is open.
Key-holder and on-shift employee supervisory responsibilities are essential components of this position.
