Team One Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Gadsden is looking for reliable and motivated automotive dealership Service Technicians due to expansion.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as an automotive technician with high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair skills, capable of maintaining, repairing, and delivering vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. Confidence working independently or in a team environment is essential.

Previous Chrysler experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• ASE Certification or graduation from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC equipment, and lifts.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately.
• Professional appearance and friendly customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including maintaining composure under stress.
• Valid driver's license.
