Big R Stores is seeking a part-time Team Member in Colorado Springs to assist customers across departments, maintain a high level of service, and support team members. The role requires ability to work weekends and lift up to 50 pounds; knowledge of firearms is preferred, with 21+ for handling firearms.

Base pay ranges from $15.16 to $17.00 per hour, with a focus on ethical behavior, teamwork, and community service.

About the Team Member Position:

Sporting Goods Team Members are expected to assist in other departments as needed to promote teamwork, flexibility, and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

Scheduling Requirements:

• All associates are expected to conform to the scheduled work hours and shifts set by Store Management.
• Must be able to work weekends with a rotating schedule.

Employment Classification Considerations for Scheduling

• Full-Time employees are scheduled with 4 days on, 2 days off rotation, up to 40 hours per week (overtime offered when business needs arise).
• Part-Time employees are scheduled as needed up to 29 hours per week. Weekend and evening availability is preferred (hours are not guaranteed).

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of working on their feet for long periods of time, and capable of standing, walking, bending and/or kneeling, consistently throughout the workday.
• All associates should be capable of pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance consistently and sometimes 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Age Requirements:

• 21 Years of Age: Must be able to pass a background check for Sporting Goods and Receiver positions to handle and/or sell firearms.

Broadmoor Store - Hours of Operation:

Monday -Saturday: 8am to 8pm

Sunday: 9am to 7pm
