Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, clean and stock facility, and handle accurate payments. The role includes food preparation, packaging, and general duties to support travelers at our travel plazas.

The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and a proactive approach to cross-selling products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers).
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process and receive payment from customers, and follow all policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Complete a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.

What You’ll Do

As a Team Member , you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, thoroughly cleaning & stocking, processing accurate payment transactions, preparing & serving quality food, and a variety of other duties to assist in meeting the needs of our customers (Travelers).

• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers).

Essential Experience & Skills

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
• Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
