Job summary

Popeyes is hiring Team Members to be at the heart of the restaurant, delivering guest service, preparing food, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and coworkers.

You will greet guests, take orders, cook signature items, maintain cleanliness, and support team goals in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required - we provide training!
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for delivering great guest service
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and a positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome
• Take guest orders accurately and operate the cash register efficiently
• Prepare and cook Popeyes signature menu items according to brand standards
• Ensure all food is fresh, properly presented, and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior
• Stock supplies and keep workstations organized and clean
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet daily operational goals
• Assist with deliveries, inventory, and other back-of-house tasks as needed
• Lift and carry items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 30-50 lbs]) and stand for extended periods

This position operates in a restaurant environment. Popeyes staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
