The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Masonry Team Member plays a key role in the installation of high-quality outdoor living features, including walkways, patios, outdoor kitchens, firepits, and other masonry and hardscape elements. This position is hands-on and involves all phases of masonry construction—from site preparation and base compaction to stone layout, setting, and finishing. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.Responsibilities and DutiesAssist with and perform installation of masonry and small hardscape features such as walkways, patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and firepitsAssist with site layout and preparation prior to installationComplete excavation and base installation per project specificationsGrade and compact sub-base materials to ensure proper drainage and long-term stabilityPrepare and mix mortar/mud to the proper consistency for masonry installationsLay out stone, brick, and veneer materials according to design plansInstall materials using both wet-set and dry-set methodsCut materials using tile cutters and masonry saws, as neededPerform grouting, jointing, sealing, and finish work to company quality standardsSafely operate and maintain hand tools, masonry saws, tile cutters, mixers, and measuring toolsAssist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on a daily basis, as neededAssist with job site setup, organization, and cleanup at the beginning and end of each dayFollow all safety guidelines and company procedures while working on job sitesWork collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with team leader to complete projects on schedule and to quality standardsOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeStrong work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsPrevious masonry, hardscape, construction, or landscaping experience preferred, but not requiredExperience with mortar/mud mixing and wet-set applications preferred, but not requiredSmall equipment experience (plate compactors, skid steers, etc.) is helpful, but not requiredAbility to follow instructions and pay attention to detailTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeAbility to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding workReliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules requireAbility to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidityAbility to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrainThe Perks401(k) plan with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFSA/HSAPerkSpotLong-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid time OffTuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
